That Jaguar suddenly allows you the freedom of rowing-your-own in the V6 F-Type while forcing you to have AWD on the V8 and making everyone have electric steering? I'd like to see what that board room was like. The fact that the sweet spot of the range, the V6S, is more driver-friendly makes me happy because it is a good used prospect in 20 years—but the electric steering isn't so much of an improvement unless the hydraulic system sucked and the AWD isn't necessary for any rich person who can also drive. Also, am I the only person who finds the FP bitching about people wanting a car to exist with three pedals and not being able to buy it? Fuck you, guy (is what I would say to these arrogant technology-embracers no matter that guy's gender). And it's a sports car: don't buy a stick F-type thinking it will be a one-of-twenty-examples unicorn.

I missed the AWD only for the V8 models part. Thats sad. I hope its super RWD biased in practice.

It's basically RWD when there's no need for extra traction, which is cool. But they are adding weight to a heavy car and expense to an expensive one, which is funny. I think in a while, the early V8s will be more sought-after.
